Isolation:

It is a propert of database that controls the changes and visibility of the changes to the users and system.

Te primary goal of isolation is to provide access to the multiple transactions at a same time but there is a condition that, there should no transction can affect the execution of others.

There are four levels of isolation that are as follows:

  • Serialozable
  • Read commited
  • repeatable reads
  • read uncommited.

Example:

Suppose a person A, trying an transaction. At the same time person B i also trying for transaction.

These both transactions must be isolate in the database.

The system will allow the person A to completes the transaction before person B. By doing this, transaction of B will not affect the A.
