In 10b, all that has been said is that velocity is positive. Now there can be three situations for positive velocity.

I) velocity is increasing, which means acceleration is positive.

II) velocity is constant, which means acceleration is zero.

III) velocity is decreasing, which means acceleration is negative.

Since acceleration can be negative, zero or positive for this case, so acceleration graph can be in both the boxes A and B.

Acceleration is result of Force. It always points in the direction of resultant force. If resultant force is zero acceleration is zero.
