3. Belgian scientists discovered that certain mutations in common wall cress (Arabidopsis thaliana) cause excess auxin production. Predict the impact on the plant’s phenotype.

3. Excess auxin production can cause increased hypocotyl elongation in the presence of light, increased cell elongation in the plant, increased apical dominance.

4. The hormones in mammals are same. The hormones given to cattles are same as produced in human body. So, there is chance of these hormones affecting the human body if taken in excess from outside source like cow's milk. On contrary, the plant hormones are not produced in animal body and are metabolised in the body. Therefore, plant hormones doesn't affect human body.
