Answer 1- The correct answer is between-participant design as it is the design where different individuals test each condition.

The rest of the options are incorrect as within-participant design, where all participants are exposed to every treatment, then interrupted time series design is the one where data are collected at different regular time points, lastly, two treatment design focuses on two treatment factors of interest.
