Ans) Grasshopper has 2n=24 chromosomes which means n=12 which means grasshopper got one pair of 12 chromosomes from father and another pair of 12 chromosomes from mother.

1) G1 phase = 24 chromosomes

2) S phase = 24 chromosomes

3) Prophase-I = 24 chromosomes

4) Late Anaphase-I = 24 chromosomes

5) Metaphase-II = 12 chromosomes
