Golgi apparatus is involved in the glycosylation of proteins. The enzymes involved in this process are known as glycosylases and are located in the luminal side of golgi apparatus. This is because the endoplasmic reticulum directly delivers the proteins for sorting into the lumen of golgi apparatus.
