You have been hired by a company to help them diversify their workforce -- your choose the type of company.

Write a proposal to present to the Senior Management staff that addresses how to begin this diversification. Assume the business that has hired you is committed to training and education of people who have the talent, but may need some professional development, coaching, mentoring, etc.

The CEO and Vice President for Human Resources have met with you and made it clear that diversity of all types is important, including cultural, gender and sexual orientation; they believe in inclusivity in the broadest of terms.

This company is looking for a proposal that is integrated into all key functions of the organization, including, Recruitment and Selection; Training and Development; Pay and Incentives; Performance Management and Appraisal; and anything else appropriate to the type of organization you choose. You should consider the geographic region where the company is located and the demographics of the people who live nearby.

Along with proposal include recommendations for policies and procedures that need to be considered as part of this effort.

workforce diversity represents the working people consists of different races, ethnicity, gender, age groups, religion, sex, nationality etc. The said combination of workforce helps the firm to enhance the skills of employees and becomes more innovative and become more competitive in nature. The same information will inform to the higher authorities and to the remaining workers in the organization. A diversified workforce helps all to minimize their limitations and maximize the productivity through higher performance.

The diversity is not only limited to certain area or function, but in all functions. It does not mean that one community people knows better than other, it is all about understanding others at the workplace and working with them by learning and sharing. While the scope can be broder when all these people works together.

Various benefits with workplace diversity are as follows:

  • The people belongs to diffrent groups, equip with different talents, skills, experiences, benefit the organization at the work place
  • it helps to increase innovative ideas and practices at the work place
  • it helps the firm to increase its talent group across the nations
  • it helps to improve employee performances

By highlighting all these factors my presentation will be planned. Of course there may be few limitations with this, but compares to the limitations, the benefits are much higher.
