These are all multiple choice

Which of the following "per expressions" is NOT correct for the reaction: C 6H 12O 6 + 6 O 2 → 6 CO 2 + 6 H 2O

1 molecule of C6H12O6 reacts per 6 molecules of carbon dioxide formed

6 moles of water are formed per 6 moles of oxygen reacted

6 moles of oxygen react per 1 mole of C6H12O6 reacted

6 grams of oxygen react per 6 grams of water formed

2.

Given the reaction: N2 + 3 H2 → 2 NH3

How many moles of hydrogen would react with 0.076 moles of nitrogen?

3.00 moles

0.228 moles

0.333 moles

2.05 moles

3.

For the reaction: 2 Al + 6 HBr → 2 AlBr 3 + 3 H 2, which of the following "per expressions" must be used to convert the number of moles of aluminum reacted to the number of moles of aluminum bromide formed:

2 moles aluminum bromide / 2 moles aluminum

2 moles aluminum / 6 moles hydrobromic acid

2 moles aluminum bromide / 6 moles hydrobromic acid

6 moles hydrobromic acid / 2 moles aluminum

4.

For the reaction: 2 C 2H 6 + 7 O 2 → 4 CO 2 + 6 H 2O, which of the following "per expressions" must be used to convert the number of moles of water formed to the number of moles of oxygen reacted:

4 moles carbon dioxide / 6 moles water

7 moles oxygen / 6 moles water

6 moles water / 7 moles oxygen

2 moles C2H6 / 6 moles water

Answer #1

As per Chegg policy, the solution of the first four questions are given below.

Q1) Ans-The incorrect statement is (d) 6 grams of oxygen reacts per 6 grams of water formed.

The correct statement should be 192grams of oxygen reacts per 108 g of water formed.

Q2) Ans- According to the reaction 1 mole of N2 reacts with 3 moles of H2

Thus 0.076 moles of N2 will react with,

0.076 X 3 = 0.228 moles of H2

Hence option (b) is correct.

Q3) Ans-(a) is the correct expression to convert the no. of moles of Aluminium reacted to no. of moles of AlBr3 formed.

Q4) Ans-(c) 6 moles of water/7 moles of oxygen

Is the correct expression to convert no. of moles of water form .
