Given R=10cm (radius of clock)

Distance traveled = parameter of clock =2 π R =2x3.14x10 =62.8cm =628mm

For 12 hour clock, it takes 12hours to complete one revolution for hour hand

i.e. It travels 628mm in 12hrs = 43200 s

therefore, tangential speed = Distance/time = 628/43200=0.0145 mm/sec.
