answer : FALSE.

REASON:

ERP means, Enterprise Resource Planning system which utillizes ERP software for its functions. The main aim of using this system by businesses is that it helps a lot in gathering, managing and organizing the business data which are coming in and going out of the business system.

-ERP software is mainly used as part of making the business more advanced and automated, because the software has tools to automate various business activities like, accounting, production, distribution, sales, human resource management etc.

-But it should be clear that, ERP system CANNOT work alone. ERP system should undergo the process of INTEGRATION where the ERP system is integrated with the other systems of the business. Its very important because unless it's linked to other system, it just sits as a software with no functions, so to improve and automate every areas of the business, the ERP system should be integrated with other systems of the business.

Advantages of integrating ERP with other systems:

1. By integration, all the data which are coming in and going out wil be through a central data storage, that is when the ERP system is integrated with other systems, the data of every system could be managed in ERP system, which is a great money and time saver and also it improves the performance a lot, as there is no need to go to every system to see about the data of each system.

2. If the system is not integrated, the system will not be automated, because, lack of integration will demand for manual inputs and outputs into each and every system, which the ERP system will do its own, if its integrated with all systems of the business.

3. Also the human error which is very normal in case of under developed business systems could be avoided with the use of fully automated and integrated ERP system.

4. Also reduced time which was spend for manual labour at eacn system of the business could be utilized for concentrating on the projects which need more time and human works to get completed. So more time could be obtained with the ERP integration, to work on other projects.
