Answer #1

Variable Refrigerant Flow is the potential of the apparatus to direct the quantity of refrigerant going into the evaporators and thereby validating the utilisation of large number of evaporators of various abilities and arrangement fastened to a particular condensing system. Variable Refrigerant Flow processes change the amount of refrigerant going into the sequence of evaporation pipes. VRF processes need more developed regulation compared to the basic temperature measuring instrument. VRF processes are one of many developed differing speed and output systems which give lesser energy utilisation and peaceful HVAC process. There is no requirement to spend in the old constant volume HVAC processes which charge extra to heat and cool the system. Though the apparatus amount is large, the fitting amount must be a less as all the evaporators utilise a two-pipe dispensation process. VRF technology results excellent part-load effectiveness. VRF processes increase the chances of refrigerant discharge that can be hard to rectify.

Water Cooled Chiller is the most developed technology. It is largely energy effective and gives a peaceful following the regulations. With good process design, chillers are a good material due to their excellent efficiency even at part load cases. Safe for the residents, as water is flowing in the refrigeration area, there is no situation of dangerous material coming in the refrigerated area. But it needs more area for the chillers and area for installing the cooling towers. Skilled humans are needed for working on the chiller tower.

In VRF, refrigerant is flowing in the refrigeration pipes. Oil with the refrigerant escapes the compressor at every discharge, that then is circulated in the refrigeration pipes. On the other hand all chillers definitely consist of an in-built oil administration process, hence removing any problems of oil return.  As there is a huge amount of refrigerant in the system, so when there are part load cases the refrigerant mass is taken by the limited compressors. The system is clearly designed and only the limited quantity of refrigerant needed is circulated. For tiny systems, VRF process is the best process, but for smaller central plant process, space requirement for chillers is not be present. For such small systems, the VRF process can stay basic with less refrigerant circuit and without much complication. When the mounting size begins incrementing, VRF systems, become complex. The life cycle amount of that system is lower than the VRF system, and also evades safety problems.
