Question

1. Design and simulate the circuit in PSpice. Use a frequency of 500Hz for both sources. (Hint: the part name for the sinusoidal current source is ISIN)

2. Display the waveforms of VS, VR, VL, and Vx. Select a suitable time window to show between 4-6 complete cycles.

3. Take snapshots of the circuit and the waveforms.

4. Determine the amplitudes of VS, VR, VL, and Vx.

The circuit is wired and the voltages to be drawn are marked

The Simulation Profile

I am planning to show 5 cycles. So I am using 0.01 s

Frequecny is 500 Hz. SO the time period is 1/500 = 2 ms.

So for 5 cycles time required is 5 * 2ms = 0.01 s.

The waveforms

X - cadence- SCHEMATIC1-Problem - PSpice A/D Lite - [Problem (active)] File Edit View Simulation Trace Plot Tools Window O- H

Amplitude of VR = 6.4788V

Amplitude of VS = 11.354V

Amplitude of Vx = 9.741V

Amplitude of VL = 1.8648V
