Anatomically Modern human (Cro-magnon)

Size of face relative to entire cranium- low skull with a wide yet small face.

Degree of post-orbital constriction- Very reduced to almost no post-orbital constriction or narrowing behind the eye sockets.

Shape of occipital and nuchal region- rounded skull

Form of mid-facial region-  there is no prominent prognathism of the face and jaw.

Retromolar space

Archaic- Homo sapiens- Little to no gap.

Neanderthals- Present. It was considered a unique feature of Neanderthals.

Cro magnon- No gap.
