Answer #1

we are given

\theta=40 degree

we can change into radian

\theta=40\times \frac{\pi}{180}

r=8.5

we can use area of sector formula

А = = xөx r2

now, we can plug values

A=\frac{1}{2}\times (40\times \frac{\pi}{180}) \times (8.5)^2

so, we get

A=25.2...........Answer
