Pros of pessimistic concurrency:

1. Transactions are executed correctly.
2. DB is maintained very stable and data is maintained very consistent.

Cons:

Huge run time

Pros of optimistic concurrency:

1. More efficient and reliably safe transactions.

Cons:

Data interference is at higher risk.

Inconsistent data and errors may cause DB worse.

Explicit transactions:

Pros:

It has beginning and roll back command.

Errors can be rollback in this method.

Cons:

We have to write our own code to start the transactions.

Implicit transactions:

Pros:

It is an auto commit.      

Cons:

Errors cannot be roll back here.
