what change in pH has greater effect on proton concentration? pH from 7 to 6 or pH from 7 to 8?
I'm thinking that both changes effect the proton concentration equally but in opposite directions in that moving from pH 7 to 6 would be similar to dividing the concentration of protons by 10, while moving from 7 to 8 would be the equivalent of multiplying the concentration of protons by 10.
Thank you for the help
in
one case proton concentration increased by 10 while in other case
it is decreased by 10. So both have same change in proton
concentration

I'm not sure about how I'm supposed to find NaOH
concentration from a strong acid and strong base titration. I'm
thinking that 2.5×10^-8 mol per L that I calculated would make the
moles of NaOH 2.5x10^-8 mol since it's a one to one
ratio.
