We would see two signal in 1H NMR spectrum for Butane.

Hence Answer is - 2

Because in n- butane there there are two set of protons, first peak will be for proton of methyl group.

Another peak will be for proton of methylene group.

Chemical shift value for methylene (CH2) proton will be more than chemical shift value of methyl (CH3) proton.

Proton of methylene group will show quartet and proton of methyl group will show triplet.
