Level of service is defined as qualitative measure describing operational condition with traffic steam and there perspective by driver's.

* Traffic capacity is quantitative measure of flow where as level of service is qualitative measure of flow

* Highway capacity manual describe total six level of service from A to F in which level of service A is considered as best.

As we move from level of service A to F

1) number of vehicle increases

2) Traffic density increases

3) Traffic flow increases

4)Traffic speed decreases

5) Comfort to passenger decreases
