Here, for our graph B based on data, none of the points is beyond LCL or UCL. Hence, it is in 3-sigma limits.
c). CL is the mean line. 2-sigma is the 2nd line above and below it. Since, we can see no point exceeds 2-sigma limit on either side.
d). 1-sigma is the 1st line above and below CL. Since, there are various points lying outside 1-sigma but they are not consecutive. Either one or two points at a time lie outside 1-sigma. Hence, no.
e). No, we do not see 8 points in a row on either side of CL or mean.
f). No, points are increasing and decreasing randomly. No, eight points in a row are seen increasing or decreasing. However, that pattern is shown by A graph which is not our data representative.
g). We conclude that our chart is under Statistical Quality Control.
