Suppose the government is considering implementing a 5-year information campaign that (1) promotes the use of bicycle helmets in the adult cyclist population and (ii) encourages drivers and cyclists to "share the road". You have been asked to conduct a cost benefit analysis of the proposed information campaign 8. (i) What do you think are the main benefit and cost categories associated with this nfoimation campaign (ii) How would you go about valuing these impacts? iii What are the key uncertainties you face in conducting the analysis? How would you deal with these uncertainties?

i) The main benifits associated with this information campaign are; decrease in the death rate by use of helments, increase in the demond of helments thus increase in the employment in helment producing industry, and so many derect and indrect benifits.

If we talk about costs of campagincampagin, the biggest one is" time of five years" and manpower used in informing the population.

ii) There are so many methods valuing the impact of these type of campagins. One method is direct intractaction with people and asking them the impact of this project.

iii) the key uncertanties of conducting the analysis is that respodents may not give proper responce which is required for analysis. These problems can be tackled by conducting a pre mini analysis in order to gain assuraince about the main analysis.
