A fitting conclusion for the above argument is that the only way the stock market can probably go is down.

Premises - There is trouble in the Middle East.

There is a recession at home.

All economic indicators are trending downwards.

These premises somewhat provide good reasons to support the conclusion mentioned above.

Why other options are incorrect.

Because the conclusion must follow the premises or provide some logically valid statement that can be convincing.
