The three drawbacks of using filesystems are :

a.> Data Redundancy: Repeatness in data , duplicacy in data ,this is resolved by data bases using normalization of data bases using Data base management systems.

b.> Data Inconsistency: due to redundancy the chances are higher that data might be unconsistent state.

c.> Difficulty in Accessing Data: data accessing is costly and time consuming in file system , but in DBMS we are using indexing and other good techniques to accessing it faster .
