a) The water is becoming less dense and the sphere is expanding as temperature increases, the buoyant force is dependent on the density of the fluid, and the volume of water displaced - thus, if density decreases and volume increases. Thus, the increasing volume increases it's buoyancy.

b) Dry air is denser compared to water vapor and hence dry air will be denser as compared to humid air at the same temperature and pressure.
