Good Afternoon,

I have a rather personal question today, I am an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic working in a food grade facility and love what i do but what to further myself in career that I will enjoy and is more geared toward this line of work. Does anyone have suggestions as to where in the Electrical Engineering field i should gear my self toward or what kind of companies are out there that would be more hands on than just a desk job? Thank you for any advice or information.

It has various machines to serve the needs of the testing field. The benefit of joining the military, is that when you get out, you get veteran preference and at least this is significant. Many companies will hire a vet before hiring someone else, and government jobs have to look at vets first. There are also a lot of other benefits to joining the military, and if this interests you, it could be one of the best decisions you ever make. The majority of positions are not combat role positions but support role positions. They need mechanics just as much as everyone else. Always try to be best and most reliable person in your field. s
