Parietal bone

  • Forms sagittal, coronal, squamous and lambdoid sutures.

    - Parietal bone forms coronal suture with frontal bone, squamous suture with temporal bone and lamdoid suture with occipital bone. Two parietal bones forms sagittal suture.

Temporal bone

  • External acoustic meatus (Ear canal)
  • Styloid process
  • Mandibular fossa
  • Mastoid process

Sphenoid bone

  • Sella turcica (A depression that houses pituitary gland)
