screens where each screen will do a different job. They are used
for boosting productivity and makes the job of managing multiple
tasks easy.
2) Increased productivity
As you can customize your terminal emulator according to your needs, productivity increases. Various terminal emulators provide various features and functionalities and by making use of these features, a user can improve his/her productivity. For example, managing multiple tabs using a terminal emulator is less time consuming and tedious than by traditional method.
3) Access to local or remote machine
Using terminal emulators, users can access either the resources on the local machine or on a remote machine. To access resources on a local machine is a simple task that doesn't need anything else than the emulation program. To access resources on the remote machine, the users need to install ssh or telnet or any other similar service and connect to a remote server.
