(a) The fundamental frequency only

As, we know a 60 Hz sine wave has only one component of 60 Hz. And this is the fundamental frequency component.

ANSWER-22 ==>

Bandwidth associated with it, B ==>

B = Highest frequency component present - Lowest frequency component present = 60 - 60 = 0 Hz

==> B = 0 Hz

ANSWER-23 ==>

(c) Odd harmonic waveforms
We know that the ideal square wave contains components of odd harmonic frequencies (of the form (2k − 1)f, here f is fundamental frequency), alongwith the fundamental component (f). So, (c) is the correct answer. Also, please note that the lowest frequency component in this waveform is f and highest frequency component is infinity.

ANSWER-24 ==>

Bandwidth associated with it, B ==>

B = Highest frequency component present - Lowest frequency component present = Infinity - f

==> B = Infinity Hz
