Vessel type : Artery

Vessel type : Vein.

a) large lumen.

b) lumen is irregular shape and have thinner walls.

Tunica intima : a) innermost tunic.

c) thin tunic of capillary.

Tunica externa : b) most superficial tunic

   f) has a smooth surface

Tunica media : d) regulate blood vessel diameter

    e) contains smooth muscle and elastin.

2) Valves helps to open, when blood travels towards the heart and valves closes, so that it prevents backward flow of blood when the blood is going towards the heart.

3) Two events within the body that aid in venous return are respiratory pump and skeletal muscle contraction.

4) To withstand high pressure of blood coming out of heart, arteries need thick wall.
