Answer #1

The answer to this question is simple

A)

The reaction for this titration is

2HClO4 + Mg(OH)2 -----> Mg(ClO4)2 + 2H2O

B)

1000 ml 1M solution has 1M

So

0.3304 L of 0.550M will have

0.3304× 0.550

=0.18172 moles

So moles of perchloric acid are double of that

So

Moles = 0.18172 × 2

= 0.36344 moles

And it's mass

= moles × molar mass

= 0.36344 × 100.46

=36.511 gram
