A secondary sex organ is an organ which assists in reproduction by transferring gametes or assist in reproduction. Example- peniis in males and vulva in females.

Secondary sex characteristics are features that appear during puberty in humans, and at sexual maturity in other animals. Example- breast enlargement in females and growth of facial hair in males.
