PLEASE HELP ME ANSWER THE QUESTIONS TO THIS EXPERIMENT!!
It's very important to answer and EXPLAIN the question to part b) !!!
The DFT of a Rectangular Window & The Effects of Zero
Padding a Signal
a) Plot the 4-point magnitude DFT of the following
pulse w[n] = [1 1 1 1]= [w[0] w[1] w[2] w[3]] (Use the
FFT command in MATLAB.)
b) Conveniently zero pad the signal in order to plot the 8-point DFT, the 16-point DFT and the 128point DFT.
1_ Does zero padding increases the resolution (capacity to discriminate between closely spaced frequencies) in the DFT magnitude spectrum or it just does interpolation in frequency, thus providing a smoother spectrum? Discuss.

Can someone please help me with all these questions please? I desperately need it asap! Must be done with MATLAB. Thumbs up will be guaranteed! Thank you so much!! A. Discrete Fourier Transform and zero padding For the signals x1[n] and x2[n] answer the following questions: x2 [n] = cos(2m30/100) + 0.5 cos(2nn40/100) 1) Compute and plot the length-N DFT magnitude of signals x1[n] and x2[n] with respect to frequency fr, where f and N is the number of samples....
Exercise 4. Computing and displaying the Fourier Transform of a signal Later in the semester it will become useful to determine the frequency response of a signal or system by taking the Fourier Transform empirically (rather than computing it analytically). To do so we make use of the fft and fftshift commands. The fft command is an efficient implementation of the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) known as the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT). When the FFT is computed the samples are...

can someone help me do this and maybe also the picture of the scope explain how you get it. thankyou! Frequency-shift keying (FSK) and Phase-shift keying (PSK) Two other modulation schemes are the phase-shift keying (PSK) and the frequency-shift keying (FSK). These are illustrated in Figure 8 b and c respectively. In phase-shift keying the carrier signal changes phase by a radians when the digital signal changes values. In frequency-shift keying a 0 is transmitted at a different carrier frequency...

I need help with number 2 . Please answer in MATLAB thank you! 1. In the lab we analyzed filtering 60 Hz power-line noise from ECG signal using a digital (signal processing) filter. Now let's try to an analog (circuit) filter approach to remove the 60 Hz line-noise. Introduction: You will be titrating a solution of a weak acid with 0.100 M NaOH, while monitoring the reaction using a pH meter. Weak acids have characteristic acid-ionization constants, K. The purpose of this lab is to use the titration to determine the value of this constant for the weak acid called “benzoic...
