  1. Lingual lipase is released on the mouth which begins the digestive process
  2. Monoglyceride and triglycerides enter the small intestine.
  3. Pancreatic lipase breaks down triglycerides into glycerol and fatty acid in presence of bile.
  4. Inside intestinal cell, the glycerol and fatty acid are resynthesised into new triglycerides.
  5. Chylomicrons enter the lacteal, which are lymphatic capillary.
  6. Chylomicrons are transported by lymphatic system to left subclavian vein.
