Ans- Malleus

Acute labyrinthis is the inflammation of the inner ear caused by viral or bacterial infection. It causes inflammation that can affect structures of this part of the ear and disrupt the flow of sensory information from the ear to brain. Clinically this condition produces disturbance to balance and hearing to varying degrees. It affects the parts of inner ear therefore malleus is the bone of middle ear, hence there is no inflammation. While the semicircular canals, utricle and cochlea are parts of inner ear.
