Answer #1

A C f(h) GROUND

The equation of motion is,

s=ut+\frac{1}{2}at^{2}

where s= distance, u=initial velocity, a= acceleration and t=time

In this case since it is a free fall,

\theta=0,  s=c-f(h) and   a= acceleration due to gravity=g=32.1741 \frac{feet}{sec^{2}}\simeq 32\frac{feet}{sec^{2}}

Substituting into the equations of motion,

c-f(h)=\frac{1}{2}32 t^{2}

f(h)=c-\frac{1}{2}32 t^{2}=c-16 t^{2}

Hence proven
