INTRODUCTION :- Earth day is one such annual celebration which takes place on April 22 worldwide in order to support protection of environment. The first ever Earth day was celebrated in the year 1970,and since then it has been celebrated every year,for conveying and providing the support for safeguarding our environment.

BASED ON THESE DOCUMENTS,STATE ONE REASON THE OBSERVANCE OF EARTH DAY IS IMPORTANT TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL MOVEMENT.

Based on the given document,one of the reason the observance of Earth day is important to the environmental movement,is that Earth day is mainly celebrated to remind people their duty regarding the protection of environment.and along with that making them aware of the ecological problems we are facing,and its further consequences in our life,if the environment is not taken care off.And more importantly this day is observed to take an attempt to make such environment which is worth living.
