In BLUE box :

  • T cells - Approximatelt 80% of circulating lymphocytes are classified as T cells.


T cells are differentiated into :

  • Cytotoxic T cells - Attack foreign cells or body cells infected by viruses.

  • Helper T cells - Stimulate activation and function of T cells and B cells.

  • Regulatory T cells - Regulatory T cells inhibit both T cells and B cell.

  • Memory T cells - Subset of T cells that respond to previously encountered antigen.


In PINK box :

  • B cells - B cells make upto 10-15 % of circulating lymphocyte
  • Plasma cells - When stimulated B cells can differentiate into plasma cells.


In GREEN box :

  • NK cells - Make up the remaining 5-10% of circulating lymphocytes
