One typical example is 3rd party logistics providers serving their customers like e- commerce company. They store the stock of orders of e commerce companies and deliver to the nd customers and also act as cross dock for the company's inbound which they received from the supplier. They manage their stocks and send report on daily basis and provide adequate information about excess of stock or stock out issue( which is not that applicable incase of e commerce).The network of e commerce is very sensitive and needs to deliver with Max packaging care and on time service to the right customer. The service providers use adequate technology which enables for track and trace of product.
