Answer #1

a) Penetration rate means the rate of speed of any product or service selling in the market. Here influence of social media is considered as a product and the impact of social media is represented by penetration rate. North America has 95% penetration rate and it is the largest rate among other countries. Even though Asia is the most populated country, only 48.7% of penetration of social media is present in Asia. This can also be told as 48.7% of the whole population of Asia is using social media or internet. The second largest penetration rate is present in Europe with 85% of penetration rate. The least penetration is present in Africa with 35.2 and the next least penetration rate is present in Asia. This means impact of social media and internet usage is very less in Africa and Asia.

C. The role of social networking is huge. In this fast growing digital world everything has become digital and every information is present in finger tips through smart phone. Each and every product and opinion about the same is also shared in social media. So better transparency is present. At the same time, there are equal threats due to high transparency. Every purchased items through online is paid digitally and all our account details are also present digitally. High scrutiny and policies should be implemented for not misusing the same.
