force F2=320 N


angle between F1 and F2 is, theta=59 degrees

a)

Fnet=sqrt(F1^2 + F2^2 + 2*F1*F2*cos(theta))


=sqrt(290^2 + 320^2 + 2*290*320*cos(59))


=531.122 N


b)

tan(alpa)=F2*sin(theta)/(F1+F2*cos(theta))

=320*sin(59)/(290+320*cos(59))

====> alpa=31.094 degrees

angle which Fnet makes with F1 is, alpa=31.094 degrees
