and Arbitration is a dispute resolution body developed in periods
of South African Labour Relations Act. CCMA is independent in
itself without any party ruling over it, is not regulated by any
political party, trade union or other business and does not belong
to anyone.
It works in the benefit of people while resolving disputes.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Act as a union for employees and organisation
Training to its members
Suggest the processes and procedures to follow in case of dispute
to the parties
Publish guidelines regarding any act in relation of the Labour Relations Act
CCMA usually have 500 disputes on an average working day. Unfair
practices and dismissal treatments are the major chunk of disputes
handled by the body which makes it a big independent body without
government funding.
