Answer #1

Both the religions guide their followers towards enlightenment through different paths such as bakthi (Devotion), Gnanam (Wisdom) and Karma (Action). Both the religions teach their followers to be detached from the worldly things to get attached to the prime soul. Both the religions insist on meditation and yoga to regulate body and mind to achieve godliness. Both the religions teach non-violence and compassion towards other creatures. There are certain subtle differences among them two and one important distinction is that Hindus worship several Gods while Buddhists worship only Buddha. Hinduism preaches an eternal soul while Buddhism denies that concept. Buddhism proposes four noble truths and eightfold paths to reach God but Hinduism suggests several ways to reach God.
