The average waiting time is the amount of time a job is sitting ideal before the order is processed in the server.

Hence if we increase the utilization from 80% to 90% then the maximum average waiting time in the queue will be increased for each of the given options. In this case since processing time and interarrival time are constant. Hence this increase in waiting time will be maximum for a queue with 1 server because in this case, the server will be more sitting idle because of the increased utilization to get the same throughput. Hence option A is the correct answer.

In the case of option B and option C, the increase in utilization will be shared by 10 servers and 100 servers respectively to keep the throughput the same. Hence the increase in waiting time for these options will be less as compared to option A.
