A job board is a website which posts jobs supplied by employers. Employers typically pay a fee to the job board in exchange for the opportunity to list their job on the site.

An aggregator or job search engine scours the web and aggregate job listing from job boards and employer websites. Candidate searching for a position would visit a job board to view opening directly from the employers. Candidate searching for multiples jobs listing from multiple sources in on website would visit an aggregator.
