Answer #1

Formula to be used is

Power =  Rms Voltage X RMS Current X  power factor

P =   ( Vrms) X ( Irms ) X PF ..................... put in values

  220 W. =   120 V X 3.90 A X PF

PF = (220 W) / (120 V X 3.90 A)

= 0.47

ANSWER = power factor is 0.47
