Every data-collection method has its own built-in biases. Therefore, resorting to multi-methods of data collection is only going to compound the biases. Critique this statement.

The purpose behind data collection is the analysis of data to find some trends or hints about trends ,markets etc.

Data collection is usually done from many sources ,primary and secondary and which requires different methodologies to extract data successfully since the data type is different (quality ,quality, etc.)

Yes ,using only one method would limit the bias of the collection technique but it would also hamper the purpose of the process because the results will not be reliable if only one data collection method is used. The more the data, the more insight we get and we need to acquire data from different sources using different methods. While making sense of the data we can make adjustments in  the process to account for compounded biases but it is imperative that to make better insights from data ,it must be done via different methods.
