The arms trade is instrumental in understanding the war. The analysis done by William Hartung fits the class system theory because as per these theory one group will have a definite status that permanently determines their relation to other groups. In this instance, the US has been known to control up to 50% of the arms trade in the world which means they are the people who sell weapons to the war savaged countries.
