TiCl4(l) + 2Mg --------> Ti(s) + 2MgCl2(l)

part B)

here Mg is getting oxidized

and Ti4+ is getting reduced

part C)

the substance which oxidizes itself and gives electrons to other is reductant

and the substance which reduce them self and accept electrons from others are oxidant

so here, Mg is reductant

Ti4+ is oxidant
