What situation in criminal justice research/practice would require a hypothesis test to examine if there is a significant difference between means (i.e. continuous data)? What variable(s) could this type of test be important for? Explain its importance in the criminal justice context and how you would construct a study to collect the necessary information.

A hypothesis testing is done to find that if there is enough evidence for a certain belief or not as this is a study generally conducted on a sample of individuals. In the case of criminal justice, hypothesis testing can be done to find out whether there is a relationship between the level of politeness shown by police officers and coordination by citizens during the investigation.

Here the independent variable is definitely the level of politeness and the dependent variable is the coordination by citizens.

Now the important part. I feel the importance of hypothesis testing is far more than we think there is. In criminal justice, everything is done for the people for their benefit. When there won't be any knowledge about what affects people, which thing has a negative or positive effect our criminal justice system would not get better. For continuous improvement in our system, its practice relationships are needed to be found out, which is done using hypothesis testing.

To conduct the following study, we need to draft a research paper. Which has following parts:

We can use, random samplinng for identifying the sample, because the data needs to be unbiased.
