Has this grown or declined over the past five years (line graph)?

In the years 2015 it increased to US $45412.56 and US $45923.01 in 2016 and recorded an all time high of US $ 46747.19 in year 2017

What conclusion can you draw from this observation?

Germany’s economy is highly developed and is the largest European economy. It holds the fourth largest economy position by nominal GDP and fifth largest economy by GDP. As per the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Germany accounted for 18% of Euro area economy. It recorded highest trade surplus in the world which was for US $310 billion in the year 2016. It is third largest exporter in the world with goods and services worth US $1.27 trillion exported in 2016. This makes Germany an economically prosperous country
Despite Germany being a prosperous country; its future is threatened due to decline in the birth rate. The birth rate in Germany is the lowest in the world and higher education is responsible for this low fertility rate. This will result in reduced number of workers in the coming years as the old population will grow but the younger population will not be in ample number to take over the current economic growth further.
