Question

Please help with the question! Problem 5 (25pts): Two slender bars AB and BC with lengths L and 2L are configured as shown. The have mass m and 2m, respectively. When released from rest (dashed line), the bars collapse and move as indicated while point C is constrained to be in constant contact with the wall during the fall. Find the angular velocity of rod BC when it becomes horizontal as shown in the figure. Assume the system is frictionless. The gravitational acceleration is g, and the mass moment of inertia of a bar about its own center of mass is lmas(length) /12. Hint 1: Let m = 1 and L = 1 to make math simpler. Hint2: Use the instantaneous center to relate the velocities and angular velocities.
